ORAL ORDER :

This petition is filed for giving directions to respondents to take decision on the proposal made by the petitioner for grant of additional division for 1st Standard in the school run by the petitioner Society. The proposal was sent on 17.10.2008 and the record shows that, there was recommendation of the Education Officer. The matter was sent to the Deputy Director of Education. The submissions made show that, subsequently, the Government took over the power to grant such divisions and so, the Government is

W.P. No.3021/2013 expected to take that decision.

Learned A.G.P. and learned counsel for the Zilla Parishad submit that, subsequently, the policy changed and the Government has started reassessment of requirement of the divisions in that area. It is for the Government to take the decision on its policy. The Government is expected to take decision on the proposals which were there in the past. This Court expects the Government to take decision before the end of April 2018. With these observations, the petition is disposed of.
