The learned counsel submits that the petitioner is the owner of the property. The name of the State is required to be removed from the 7/12 extract. The petitioner may approach the authority.

The learned A.G.P. submits that the petitioner has remedy U/Sec. 247 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 or can approach the committee formed under Circular dated 13.02.2015.

In view of that, writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to avail the remedy of appeal or take such other steps before the committee as is permissible.
