The applicants have been convicted for the offence punishable under Sections 143, 147 and 323 of Indian Penal Code and sentenced to suffer imprisonment for six months, one year and one year, respectively and pay total fine of Rs.3,000/- each, in default of payment of fine amount, to suffer simple imprisonment for one month for each sentence. It will take time for appeal to come up for hearing. It is a case of short term sentence. 3.

In the fitness of things, the execution of substantive sentence of imprisonment to stand suspended, pending the appeal. The applicant Nos. 1 to 8 and 10 to 15 be released on their executing P. R. bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand) each with surety bond each in the like amount.
