Heard both the sides in view of the exigency. 2.

The petitioner's police protection granted to him pursuant to the observations of this Court and against payment of charges has been abruptly disrupted and he is alleging about respondents having committed contempt. 3.

The learned A.P.P., on specific instructions from the Superintendent of Police, Nanded, submits that the status quo as regards the protection provided to the petitioner would be restored immediately albeit it would be considered in the light of the guidelines dated 04.01.2018. We accept the statement as an undertaking to the Court and dispose of the contempt petition.
