PER COURT :- The petitioner is a student of 2nd year BUMS degree course in respondent No.4 college. It is the grievance of the petitioner that on account of her failure to submit validation certificate, the University has refused to accept the examination form for the 2nd year BUMS course and returned back the examination form as well as fees to the College i.e. respondent No.4. It is not a matter of dispute that the proposal in respect of validation of the caste certificate is pending with respondent No.2 scrutiny committee.

{2} wp 4241.17.odt In the facts and circumstances of the case, this petition can be disposed of by issuing direction to respondent No.2 committee to take decision on the caste certificate validation proposal tendered by the petitioner and pending with the committee, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of 8 months from today and it is accordingly directed. Respondent Nos. 3 and 4 are directed to accept the examination form of the petitioner and permit her to appear for 2nd year BUMS degree course examination.
