Learned Counsel for the petitioner has invited our attention to the copy of the application submitted by him to the office of the Collector, Parbhani on 12.04.2018 and submits that the application is pending before the competent authority for considerably long period. The petitioner was expecting decision by the competent authority within a reasonable period. However, as the application is pending since long, the petitioner is left with no choice but to approach this Court by way of present petition. This being the limited grievance raised in the petition, petition is taken up for disposal at this stage. Notice is made returnable forthwith. Learned AGP waives notice on behalf of Respondents No.1 to 3. As this Court

Writ Petition is disposed of with direction to Respondent No.3 - the Deputy Collector - Land Acquisition Officer, Parbhani, to decide the application dated 12.04.2018, tendered by the petitioner and received in the office of Collector, Parbhani on 26.04.2018, on its own merits, as expeditiously as possible and not later than sixteen weeks from the date of order of this Court.
