The petitioner submits that he has been appointed as a Peon on compassionate basis on 31.08.2018, in view of the demise of his father on 30.03.2014. A post of Peon is available in the Urdu Department and is on 100% grant-in-aid basis. The proposal is pending since October-2018 when it was submitted on 15.10.2018. 2.

Considering the above, this petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent no. 2 to decide the proposal strictly in accordance with law and by following the due procedure as expeditiously as possible and preferably on or before 15.09.2022.
