Today Mr.Tapse, learned counsel for respondent filed two applications, one for adjournment and another for extension of time to file say and written statement. Said applications are taken on record and marked as Exhibits 9 and 10 respectively. 2.

Learned counsel for petitioner has objected for such extension of time and he pointed out that, it being election petition, there is time bound schedule and time for filing say and written statement was only upto 07-03-2025 and therefore, "No WS order" be passed as no say/written statement has not been filed within stipulated period. However, learned counsel submits that if at all this Court is inclined to grant time then costs may be saddled.

Learned counsel for respondent agrees for payment of costs. 4.

In view of above, application exhibit 10 for extension of time to file say and written statement is allowed subject to costs of Rs.5,000/- to be paid to petitioner within three weeks. 5.
