The learned advocate for the petitioner submits, on instructions, that this petition is restricted only to prayer clause B wherein it is prayed that respondent No.3 may be directed to decide the pending application dated 02.04.2018 filed by the petitioner, within a particular period.

As such, we are issuing notices to the respondents returnable forthwith. The learned AGP waives service of notice on behalf of all respondents and submits that respondent No.3 can decide the pending application of the petitioner on its merits within a reasonable period of three months.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off. 4.

The petitioner shall appear before respondent No.3 on 01.07.2021 at 12:00 noon. Respondent No.3 would then commence the hearing on the application dated 02.04.2018 filed by the petitioner by following due procedure laid down in law and shall decide the said application on it's own merits, if not already decided, as expeditiously as possible and preferably on or before 30.09.2021. kps (AVINASH G.
