The learned A.P.P. waives service for both the respondents and on written instructions from the concerned Sub Divisional Police Officer submits that the Sub Divisional Police Officer has now forwarded a report to the externing authority after enquiry under Section 59 of the Maharashtra Police Act, 1973 to drop the proceeding.

Since the petitioner has been challenging the show cause notice issued to him under Section 59 of the Maharashtra Police Act, 1973, since the Sub Divisional Police Officer himself has now submitted a negative report, nothing survives.

The Criminal Writ Petition is disposed of.
