After this matter was heard for sometime on 04/04/2024 and today, the learned Advocate for the Petitioner sought instructions and makes a statement that the Petitioner may be permitted to withdraw this Writ Petition with a further request that the learned Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal, Mumbai, Bench at Aurangabad may be requested to decide Original Application No.309/2024, along with Original Application No.352/2024, filed by Respondent No.4/ Shri. G. P. Bothikar, expeditiously.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off, as withdrawn on instructions.

We are aware about the heavy burden before the learned Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal. Since these matters pertain to continuing an employee at a particular place in the backdrop of the General Elections of the Lok Sabha, time is the essence. We, therefore, request the learned Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal that, if it is feasible, the learned Tribunal may decide these two Original Applications, as expeditiously as possible, and preferably before the commencement of the summer vacation.
