The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits that his claim of belonging to the 'Mannervarlu' Scheduled Tribe category is pending adjudication with the Competent Committee since 31st January, 2023. There is no threat of termination. He prays that the pending claim be decided expeditiously.

The learned AGP appearing on behalf of the Competent Committee submits that the Petitioner's proceedings are at the stage of Vigilance Cell inquiry. Within six (06) months, the claim would be decided.

As such, this Writ Petition is disposed off with the following directions.

(a) The claim of the Petitioner shall be decided on or before 15th October, 2024.

(b) The Petitioner tenders his email address as 'dmyerkalwar10@gmail.com' and the Mobile number '9890097081' in order to enable the Committee to enter into correspondence with him via email and/or WhatsApp message.

(c) The Petitioner undertakes to render whole hearted cooperation to the Committee and would refrain from seeking adjournments on unreasonable or trivial grounds.

(d) Until the claim of the Petitioner is validated, he would not be eligible for increments/promotions/service benefits, etc.
