Heard the learned counsel for the applicants and the learned counsel for the respondent.

As per directions of this court, the respondent/husband has deposited Rs.1,10,000/- towards arrears of the maintenance. The applicant is seeking leave to withdraw the said amount. Surprisingly, the learned counsel for the respondent/husband arguing that the amount of maintenance has been enhanced abruptly. Hence, only 70% amount is to be paid to the applicant/wife. Such type of argument is really strange and appears too novel to oppose the application. The Court did not find substance in the arguments of the learned counsel for the respondent/husband.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the applicant is entitled to receive the amount deposited as per directions of this Court. Hence, the following order:- i) Application is allowed.

ii) The office is directed to pay Rs.1,10,000/- to the applicant under the signature of applicant No.1, with accrued interest, if any.
