We have heard Mr Dighe, learned Counsel for the petitioner. 2.
The affidavit is filed by respondents no.2 and 3. Paragraph 16 of the said affidavit reads thus :
"16.
As regards to Para 14, I say and submit that, it is conveyed by respondent no.2 to respondent no.1 vide letter dated 11.7.2016 to include the names of the employees at appropriate places in seniority lists of the respective Zilla Parishads who are permanently transferred to Zilla Parishad as per the guidelines of Government Resolution dated 17.9.2012. The process of filling up vacancies for the post of Deputy Engineer (Mechanical) in promotional quota will be completed considering the latest seniority list to be published by Respondent no.2 and from the candidates who are in seniority list and posses necessary qualification and eligibility."

Respondent no.4 has also filed the affidavit to the same effect. 4.
After the said affidavit is filed, the seniority list is also published on 7.9.2017. Affidavit further states that the process of filling up vacancies for the post of Deputy Engineer (Mechanical) in promotional quota would be completed considering the latest seniority list to be published by respondent no.1. As the seniority list is already published, the process of filling up of vacancies for post of Deputy Engineer (Mechanical) in promotional quota shall be completed by the respondent as per the guidelines expeditiously. 5.
Writ Petition accordingly disposed of. No costs. 6.
In view of disposal of writ petition, Civil Application No.5843 of 2017 does not survive as such, disposed of.
