4] Considering the above, we pass the following order :- [a] In case the applications filed by the petitioners for rental compensation are not yet decided, the respondent authority shall decide the same on its own merits, in accordance with law and policy, after hearing all concerned, expeditiously and preferably within a period of 9 months. [b] writ petitions are disposed of. No costs.
