Request is made to direct the respondent Nos. 2 and 3 to consider and decide the application dated 20.8.2014 filed by the petitioner for change of date of birth from 7.7.1980 to 7.9.1980. 2.

Mr. Patil, the learned counsel submits that respondent No.3 has received the application of the petitioner but whatever entry recorded is recorded as per the earlier transfer certificate. We have heard learned A.G.P. for respondent No.2.

Respondent No.3 has only to forward the application of the petitioner with necessary record to respondent No.2 and it is for the respondent No.2 to decide the said application in accordance Clause

wp5815.15 -226.4 r.w. Appendix 6 of Secondary School Code. In the light of that, we pass the following order.

O R D E R

I.

Respondent No.3 shall forward the application filed by the petitioner for correction in date of birth to respondent No.2 within six weeks. The respondent No.2 on receipt of the said application shall decide the same in accordance with clause 26.4 r.w. Appendix 6 of the Secondary School Code, expeditiously and preferably within three months.

II.

Writ petition is disposed of no costs.
