The Petitioner is the widow of an employee, who had put in 15 years of service and did not complete 20 years of qualifying service for pension. The learned Advocate representing the Respondent/Zilla Parishad submits that the Petitioner would not be entitled for any benefit insofar as pension is concerned.

The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner/widow is almost 67 years old. Her husband died on

3628.24wp (2) 10/09/2016. The Petitioner is unaware, as to whether he has received any retiral benefits or gratuity amounts. 3.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off. We expect the Respondent/Zilla Parishad to verify the records and the original service book pertaining to the deceased employee, namely, Maroti Narsingrao Suryawanshi, and if any service benefits are unpaid, the same may be calculated and be paid to the Petitioner/widow within a period of 60 days from today.
