The petitioners are seeking compensation in respect of the land affected by the public project, but without undertaking any process of acquisition.

The learned AGP, on written instructions from the Sub-Divisional Officer, Jalna dated 28.11.2022 and further

(( 2 )) 956-WP-9376-2021 correspondence, makes a statement that the process for acquiring the petitioners' properties by private negotiation has already started and it would be completed within four months.

We accept the statement as an undertaking to this Court and dispose of the writ petition.
