Mr. Jadhavar, the learned counsel submits that, the petitioner applied for issuance of tribe certificate as belonging to 'Koli Mahadev' (Scheduled Tribe) on 28.03.2014, however, the respondent No. 2/Sub Divisional Officer is not deciding the said application. The real sister of the petitioner has been granted caste certificate by the same authority.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader states that, the said application would be decided on its own merits, if the same is pending with the respondent No. 2.

In the light of the above, we pass the following order.

In case the application filed by the petitioner seeking caste certificate as belonging to 'Koli Mahadev' (Scheduled Tribe) is pending with the respondent No. 2/Sub Divisional Officer, the respondent No. 2 shall decide the same within a period of two (2) months from today.
