The Applicant/ wife prays for transferring Marriage Petition No.63/2016 from the District Court, Pune to the District Court, Shrirampur.

The learned Advocate for the Applicant has strenuously canvassed the points formulated by him in the memo of the application. With his assistance, I have gone through the application paper book. The distance between Pune and Shrirampur is about 180 kilometers. The petition filed by the husband is pending from 2016. The Applicant/ wife has participated in the said proceedings for the last three years. Whenever she has attended the proceedings, she was paid travelling expenses of Rs.1500/-. The husband has closed his evidence on 30.01.2019 and the evidence of the wife was closed on 12.02.2019. She,

*2* 915mca84o19 later on, appeared before the Court at Pune and sought permission to lead further evidence, which has been granted. At the same time, she was paid travelling expenses for having attended the hearing in the matter. In view of the above, when the case is at the stage of closing of evidence of the Applicant/ wife and more so, when the Applicant/ wife is paid travelling expenses when she attends the proceedings at Pune, I do not find it appropriate to exercise jurisdiction in this matter. As such, this Miscellaneous Civil Application is rejected.
