Petitioner sought issuance of caste certificate, rejection of which was subject matter of challenge before respondent no. 2 - Scruitny Committee.

The respondent-Committee, vide order dated 12.02.2019 remitted the matter back to respondent no. 3 - Sub-Divisional Officer, which is informed to be not taken to its logical end till date. 3.

Learned AGP submits that appropriate order may be passed in the matter.

Considering the fact that petitioner is pursing further education and she is in need of caste certificate, it will be appropriate in our opinion to direct respondent no. 3 - SubDivisional Officer to take decision on the basis of the remand order

Petitioner undertakes to appear before the authority on 06.05.2019.
