The petitioner/trust which has been running child care home under the Juvenile Justice (Care & Protection of Children) Act, 2000 is seeking re-registration under the Juvenile Justice (Care & Protection of Children) Act of 2015. Proposal has been stated to be pending with respondents.

We dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondents to consider the proposal of the petitioner on its own merits if it has not already been considered, under communication to the petitioner. If some deficiencies are noticed, opportunity may be 1/2

927 WP NO. 4399 OF 2025 extended to the petitioner to comply with it in the light of the observations in the judgment of this Court on 08/09/2022 in Writ Petition No.7821/2021 (Mother Teresa Balakashram Vs. State of Maharashtra and Others). The decision shall be taken as expeditiously as possible and in any case within four months, under communication to the petitioner.
