Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner for some time. 2.

The challenge in this petition is only to notice issued by Tahesildar under Section 48(7)(8) of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966. The Tahesildar by way notices has called upon the Petitioner to give explanation, as to why no action be taken against the Petitioner for illegally transporting the Gitti i.e. Metal Stone. It is the case of the Petitioner that it is already held by this Court that Gitti does not amount to minor mineral and is a finished product. 3.

Be that as it may, since the petition is only against the show cause notices, this Court is not inclined to interfere in the petition. The petition stands disposed of. The Petitioner is at liberty to pursue the remedies available under law.
