The cause taken up in this Writ Petition is as regards the transfer of the Petitioner from the post of Assistant Controller to the post of a Registrar, Consumer Forum. The learned Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal, Aurangabad, vide the judgment dated 12/03/2008, delivered in Original Application No.299/2007, had held against the Petitioner and the Original Application was dismissed.

The learned Advocate for the Petitioner submits that the daughter of the Petitioner has informed him that, after the

3537.08wp (2) Petitioner superannuated in 2016, he passed away in 2019-2020. He therefore, submits that the family of the Petitioner is not interested in proceeding with this matter and the same may be disposed off, as abated.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is disposed off as abated.
