2] By the order dated 25/2/2021, the passport of the applicant that was directed to be kept with the Investigating Officer during pendency of the trial was directed to be returned to enable him to get it renewed. It was also expected of him to have surrendered his passport again after renewal within one month from the date of the order i.e. by 25/3/2021. 3] The request is now being made for extension of the time on the ground that the matter is still pending with the concerned Passport office of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. The applicant was called upon to attend the office and he did attend it on 17/3/2021, however, because of the procedural aspects, the Passport office has not returned passport to him after renewal and he is unable to surrender it and seeks time. 4] The request is innocuous. The papers reveal that the passport has been
