1] Heard learned counsel for the applicants and the learned APP for the respondent-State.

2] The applicants are apprehending arrest in connection with Crime No. 0089/2025, registered with Chakur Police Station, Taluka Chakur, Dist. Latur, for the offence punishable under Section 353 (2) and 3 (5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

3] This Court, by order dated 01.04.2025, has granted interim protection in favour of the applicants and para no.1 of the order as noted below :

The case against the applicants is that they prepared a video in the premises of the police station with the intent of defaming

the police by making false and baseless statements, causing defamation to the police department. The video was uploaded on Facebook, and the applicants tried to pressurize the police for the registration of an offence under the Atrocities Act.

4] The learned counsel for the applicants submits that in terms of the aforesaid order, the applicants have cooperated with the investigation and have provided video to the police. There is no dispute on this aspect. 5] Considering the same, the interim protection granted by order dated 01.04.2025 stands confirmed, in the following terms :

i] The applicants shall attend the concerned police station as and when required by the investigating officer.

ii] The applicants shall not tamper with the evidence of the prosecution in any manner. They shall not influence the informant, witnesses and other persons concerned with the case.

iii] The applicants shall co-operate with the investigation and also in the proceedings before the trial Court.

6] In the event, the applicant violates any of the conditions specified in this order, it shall be liable to be cancelled.

7] It is also clarified that the observations made in this order are limited to the disposal of the present anticipatory bail application and the trial Court shall proceed further in the matter without being influenced by the observations made hereinabove.

8] The application stands disposed of.
