We have heard the learned counsel for petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for respondents/State. 2.

The petitioner may be justified in seeking directions for holding elections of the Agricultural Produce Market Committee. However, considering the Covid-19 pandemic situation, it would not be possible to issue positive directions at present. It is submitted that, upto 31st August, 2021 all elections are postponed.

In the light of the above, no relief can be granted at present. In case the SOP of the Government permits conduct of elections, then the petitioners may agitate afresh.
