These applications are for restoration of criminal writ petitions, which were dismissed in default. For the reasons

2 926 cri appln 1184.25 & 928 stated in the applications, it is desirable to hear the petitions on merits. Therefore, I am inclined to allow the applications. Both criminal applications are allowed in terms of prayer clause 'B'. The criminal applications are disposed of.
