Mr. Kudle, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are not paid salary since August-2013 till their regular absorption.

It is submitted that the school where the petitioners were working stood de-recognised on 14.03.2013. The petitioners were absorbed in Government residential schools on 1.8.2013 temporarily. The petitioners were working in different schools till they were permanently absorbed. According to the learned counsel,

2 wp 5412.18 however, the petitioners are not paid the salary. 3.

The issue in the present matter is limited to the extent of payment of arrears of salary from August-2013.

It is made clear that if the petitioners have actually worked from August-2013, the period the petitioners have actually worked could be considered for the payment of salary.

Respondents no. 3 and 4 shall consider the record and after satisfying that the petitioners have actually worked from August-2013, the respondents shall consider the case of the petitioners for payment of salary for the period the petitioners have actually worked in the Government residential schools or the aided schools as per the orders passed by the competent authority. The said exercise shall be done expeditiously and preferably within a period of four (04) months.

Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
