We find that a statutory appeal under the provisions of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966, is available for the petitioner to challenge the impugned order dated 03rd December 2024. 2.

Under the provisions of the aforesaid Code, there is a whole scheme of appeals and revisions, which need to be exhausted and thereupon, challenge, if any, would lie before a learned Single Judge of this Court.

We are of the view that in that light, this petition directly filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India cannot be entertained.

Hence, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.

Needless to say, the petitioner would be at liberty to exhaust the appellate and other remedies under the Code, in accordance with law. The time consumed in approaching this Court shall be taken into consideration by the Appellate Authority, if the petitioner decides to avail of such remedy.
