Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. The learned Assistant Government Pleader has stated that, the proposal received from the petitioner seeking extension of term of the managing committee is already sent to the Government.

As far as conducting elections are concerned, the parties may proceed ahead with the same. Till the decision is taken by the Government on the proposal submitted by the petitioner for extension of term of the Committee, the respondents shall not take any adverse action against the petitioner committee. The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
