Petitioner is praying for inclusion of name of the society in the final list of voters prepared for the purpose of elections to the District Central Cooperative Bank. It is noticed that the program of election has reached at an advanced stage and today is the last date prescribed for acceptance of nomination paper. In exercise of extra ordinary jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, no interference needs to be caused in the ongoing process of election. Writ petition is devoid of substance hence stands rejected, keeping the option to avail of remedies available in law, open for the petitioner.
