When the present petition is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for petitioner, submitted that the petitioner and the respondents have arrived at amicable settlement and the matter is likely to be settled before the trial court. A copy of the terms of compromise is also placed on record. The learned counsel submitted that only because present petition is pending before this Court and interim order dated 18th December, 2013 passed in the writ petition is operating, the trial court is not recording the terms of compromise. In the circumstances, the learned counsel, on instructions, seeks leave to withdraw the petition. Leave granted. The petition stands disposed of since withdrawn.

It is clarified that if the terms of compromise are not acted upon for whatsoever may be the
