This petition is filed for issuance of directions against respondent No.2 to decide the administrative Appeal filed under Disciplinary and Appeal Rules, 1979 by the present petitioner to challenge the order of suspension.

It is contended that the Appeal was filed in the year 2013, but no progress is made in the Appeal by the appellate authority. As the Appeal is filed only against the order of suspension, such Appeal can

2 WP 3258/13 be disposed of within few days and not even month's time is required for taking decision and, without issuing notice to the other side, such Appeal can be disposed of. In view of this submission, after hearing the learned A.G.P., the petition is allowed and direction is given to respondent No.2 to decide the administrative Appeal within 45 days from the date of receipt of order of this Court.
