The matter is remanded by the Scrutiny Committee to the Sub Divisional Officer for deciding afresh application of the petitioner for issuance of caste certificate. 2.

In view of that, we are not inclined to consider the petition on merits. The Sub Divisional Officer shall decide the application of the petitioner on its own merits in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within the time, stipulated in the Act and Rules.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
