Present petition can be disposed off as the main prayer is in respect of giving direction to respondent No.2Committee to take final decision on the caste claim of the petitioner.

Learned AGP waives notice for respondent Nos.1 and 2 and, on instructions, she makes a statement that the Committee would decide claim of the petitioner within a period of (2) two months from today. Learned Advocate for the petitioner then by apprehending that action would be taken in pursuant to letter dated 21.03.2024 seeks protection. 3.

In view of the statement made by the learned AGP writ petition stands disposed off, with direction to respondent No.2 to decide the claim of the petitioner within a period of two months from today.
