The Petitioner deposited a cheque dated 24.08.2023 for an amount of Rs. 2,00,00,000/- with Respondent No. 1, Ajantha Urban Co-operative Bank Ltd. According to the Petitioner, the cheque was issued in favour of the Petitioner by an entity from its HDFC Bank Account in New Delhi. On 29.08.2023, the Petitioner tendered two cheques for an amount of Rs. 1,00,00,060/- each, bearing numbers 600581 and 600582, respectively. An application form for RTGS through NEFT remittance was filed on 28.09.2023. According to the Petitioner, the amount of Rs. 2,00,00,000/- vide cheque issued from New Delhi was credited on the next day and yet, the Petitioner was not allowed to withdraw the said amount. - 2 - wp3838.24.odt India imposed restrictions on the bank on 29.08.2023 post noon and the Petitioner's money got stuck.

Since this Court cannot entertain Petitions for directing the Reserve Bank of India, to disburse the amount deposited by the depositors, we are not inclined to entertain this Petition. The Writ Petition is dismissed. Needless to say, the Petitioner can independently approach the Reserve Bank of India and seek the relief.
