We have heard Mr. Karpe, the learned Counsel for the petitioners. The learned Assistant Government Pleader raises an objection that the petitioners have remedy of appeal against the order dated 27.12.2016 passed by Tahsildar and assailed in this Petition.

In view of above, we dispose of the writ petition with liberty to the petitioners to avail the remedy under the provisions of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code. In case, the petitioners take up

2 18-WP-10478-2019 proceeding under the provisions of the Maharashtra Revenue Code, all contentions of the petitioners are kept open. In case the petitioners prefer the further proceedings, the Forum where the proceedings would be filed, shall endeavour to decide the proceedings expeditiously, on its own merits. The authority shall give hearing on stay petition, if filed by the petitioners within 15 days from the date of its filing. No costs.
