The learned Counsel for petitioner submits that the possession of the petitioners' land has been taken over, however, compensation has not been paid.

From the communication made by the Deputy Director, Land Records to the Sub Divisional Engineer, P.W.D., it appears that the land of the petitioners would be affected.

Be that as it may. If the petitioners' land is under acquisition and the proposal is pending, the respondents shall decide the same expeditiously, preferably within six months from today.
