During arguments learned AGP made a statement that so called exemption in favour of one of the respondents from application of Maharashtra Private Security Guard (Regulation of Employment and Welfare) Act, 1981 was for the period of 2004-2007 and that period is over. He submitted that the provisions are now, applicable throughout Maharashtra and for implementation of the provisions there is a Board. He submitted that, if there is any grievance of any nature with regard to the implementation of provisions of the aforesaid
WP/6539/2004 Act the petitioner can approach the Board and the Board is equipped with sufficient powers to redress the grievance. He submitted that, as the exemption is not continued, nothing survives in the matter. 2.
Learned AGP has submitted that, as per Section 15, Body has been appointed for Implementation of the provisions of the said Act.

Learned counsel Shri. Saoji for respondent No.10 is present and he also submits that, the exemption is not available and the contractors are implementing strictly the provisions of the aforesaid Act. In view of the statement and as grievance was only in respect of exemption granted in favour of some contractors with regard to implementation to aforesaid Act, nothing survives in the present matter.
