The petitioner's father passed away on 15.03.2012. He was a permanent employee. The petitioner moved an application on 25.03.2012 seeking compassionate appointment. The management passed a resolution on the same day. The petitioner was appointed as a Peon on compassionate basis vide order dated 01.04.2012. The proposal seeking approval forwarded on 18.06.2014 is still pending with the Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Osmanabad.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent no.3 to decide the said approval by following the due procedure laid down in law, on or before 15.03.2023.
