The identically placed petitioners have put forth prayer clauses A and B as under :- "A) The respondent Education Officer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Nanded may kindly be directed to decide proposal dt.11.07.2018 submitted by respondent Pratibha Niketan Education Society, Nanded for approval of promotion of petitioner to the post of Head Master of respondent No.7 Pratibha Niketan High School, at Kailas Nagar,

*2* Nanded and grant approval to the promotion of petitioner as Head Master.

B) The respondent Education Officer (Secondary) and respondent Superintendent, Pay and Provident Fund Unit, Zilla Parishad, Nanded may kindly be directed to fix pay scale with statutory increments and benefits of 7th Pay Commission of petitioner on the post of Head Master w.e.f. 01.07.2018 and pay the difference in salary up till 30.09.2018."

The learned AGP causes an appearance on behalf of respondent Nos.1, 3, 4 and 5.

Having considered the submissions of the learned counsel, we find that the pending proposals before respondent No.4 need to be decided expeditiously.

In view of the above, these two Writ Petitions are disposed off with the direction to respondent No.4/ Education Officer to decide the pending proposals of these two petitioners, dated 11.07.2018 and 23.08.2019, respectively. We expect that respondent No.4 would pass an order on these two proposals as expeditiously as possible and in any case, on or before 30.07.2022.

In the event, the petitioners' claims are favourably dealt with and are granted approval, we grant further time to the respondents to ensure that all consequential benefits are made

*3* available to the petitioners within a period of sixty days thereafter.
