We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned A.G.P. for respondents/State.

The learned A.G.P. on instructions submits that the committee has sent the proposal for re-vigilance. However, the petitioner is not cooperating. 3.

We would not enter into the said aspect.

We had passed the order directing the committee to decide the proceeding within a period of two (02) months on 21.12.2017 in Writ

2 957-CP 365-2021.odt Petition No. 15063 of 2017. Four years have lapsed, the proceeding is not decided.

Earlier also on 07.04.2014 in Writ Petition No. 2313 of 2014 we had directed the committee to decide the proceeding within a period of six (06) months.

Be that as it may, as a final opportunity to the committee, we pass the following order.

The petitioner shall appear before the committee on 18.08.2021. The committee shall decide the proceeding within a period of three

(03) months thereafter. No further time would be granted to the committee.

8.

In case, the proceeding is not decided as directed above, we would take serious note of it and may initiate proceedings for contempt.

9.

Contempt petition is disposed of. No costs.
