The petitioner is a senior citizen around 73 years of age and is a pensioner. He has tendered a proposal dated 03.08.2019 to the District Collector under the provisions of the Maharashtra Gunthewari Developments (Regulation, Upgradation and Control) Act, 2001. The Collector has addressed respondent no.3 vide communication dated 22.02.2022 calling for certain information, which is relevant for deciding the petitioner's proposal. However, Respondent no.3 is inactive. 2.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent no.3 to submit the information sought by the District Collector by communication dated 22.02.2022, within 30 days from today. Thereafter, the District Collector would proceed to deal with the proposal of the petitioner and shall arrive at a decision within 90 days. (Y. G. KHOBRAGADE) (RAVINDRA V.
