Mr. Pawar, learned counsel submits that the petitioner appeared for CET exam intending to take admission to 5 years degree Law Course. The petitioner was allotted seat in the 2nd cap round in respondent no.2- college. The petitioner freezed the seat by payment of Rs.1,000/-. On 26th March, 2021, the petitioner approached college for admission. The petitioner is not permitted on the ground that the petitioner did not approach for document verifcation and confrmation of admission subsequently.

It appears that the petitioner has freezed the seat in

922 wp 5938-21.odt February, 2021 but did not approach the college. It is submitted that 27th March, 2021 was the last date for submission of documents for persons seeking admission in 2nd round. Admittedly, the petitioner did not submitted the documents. The 3rd round was conducted on 25th March, 2021. 3.

It is submitted that the list for the institutional round was published today 7th April, 2021. It is for the respondent to complete the admission process as per the rules and brochure. If the name of the petitioner appears in the merit list for institutional round, certainly the petitioner can be considered. We cannot reverse the admission process, that may probably affect the other candidates.

In case, the name of the petitioner is found in the list of institutional round candidates, then the petitioner would be considered by the respondent. With this observation, writ petition disposed of. No costs.
