It is not a matter of dispute that the programme of election is at an advanced stage and last date prescribed for acceptance of nomination paper has also lapsed. In this view of the matter, interference causing amendment to the electoral roll of the society need not be made at a belated stage. Keeping open option to the petitioner to avail of alternate remedies available in law, writ petition stands disposed of.
