PER COURT :- 1.

In view of the order passed by the Honourable Apex Court in Civil Appeal No.1223/2017 with connected SLPs, applicant has filed the present application praying for necessary orders, directing discharge of Bank guarantee furnished by the applicant while withdrawing the 25 per cent of the amount of compensation deposited by the State towards the land acquisition compensation. The Honourable Apex Court has permitted withdrawal of the 50 per cent of the deposited amount by the applicants without furnishing any security and the balance 50 per cent amount on furnishing security to the satisfaction of the Reference Court. In that view of the matter, the following order is passed.

ORDER

1.

The Bank Guarantee furnished by the applicants while withdrawing 25 per cent of the total amount stands discharged. 2.

It would be open for the applicants to furnish security to the satisfaction of the Reference Court for release of the balance 50 per cent of the deposited amount.

3.

Civil Application stands disposed of.
