Parties to the proceedings have tendered settlement deed with a prayer for compounding in view of provisions of section 147 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.

Learned Counsel for the applicants submits that the proceedings as such be disposed of in terms of compromise deed placed on record and the applicants be acquitted.

Learned Counsel for respondent no.1 concedes the above referred position.

In view thereof, in view of provisions of section 147 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, the matter is compounded. The applicant is acquitted.
