Mr.Panpatte, learned counsel for petitioner states that the proposal filed by the Head Master seeking approval to the appointment of the petitioner as a Peon is pending with the Education Officer for more than three (3) years. However, no decision is taken on the same.

Mrs.Kshirsagar, learned advocate for Respondent No.3 states that if the said proposal is pending then the Education Officer will decide the same on its own merits.

In light of that, we pass the following order :

a) In case the proposal of the petitioner (Exh.F) is pending with Respondent No.3 then the Respondent No.3 shall decide the same on its merits in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within six (6) months.

b) The Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
