By this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks direction against respondent No. 2 - the Commissioner Ahmednagar Municipal Corporation, Ahmednagar to remove the encroachment on Gadgil Patangan and decide the representation of the petitioner before commencing the religious programme on public place organized by private person. 2.

The petitioner has impleaded respondent No. 7 who has organized the programme in question.

The respondent No. 7 has filed affidavit in reply dated 11th April 2022 and has annexed the copy of permission granted by the

WP No.4185/22 Ahmednagar Municipal Corporation in favour of respondent No. 7 to organize such function for a period of 10 days from 8th April 2022 to 16th April 2022.

The learned counsel for respondent No. 7 states that the permission is granted by the Ahmednagar Municipal Corporation and the respondent No. 7 has organized the said function strictly in accordance with the provisions of law. The statement is accepted. 5.

In our view, in view of the statement made by the learned counsel for respondent No. 7, nothing survives in the writ petition. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.
